Immediately thereafter, he began pleading with every adult he met to explain the workings of just about everything he encountered. If they said they didn't know, he would look them straight in the eye with his deeply set and vibrant blue-green eyes and ask them "Why?" So since he was little he was very curious and maybe that was what it seated the idea of a light bulb.

Inventions: Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb. His idea for creating the light bulb was the idea to change human existence by illuminating the night and making it hospitable to a wide range of human activity. There were many problems along the way, for instance he had to try over 1,000 times before he got it right. Thomas's works impacted society in a positive way because he brought new inventions to the world that we wouldn't have thought of. The light bulb was created in 1879, and it took him 12 years to figure it out.
