Lucas Braddy:

Invention (s):

Leonardo Da Vinci Invented many inventions ranging from weapons to canals to architecture. Leonardo was used to create many weapons during wars such as guns, grenades and mortars. Leonardo even started coming up with the first blue prints of a helicopter and bicycle. Leonardo also came up with the idea of an automobile. Leonardo even made the modern day scissors we use today. Leonardo realized that you could put water into more than one form such as a gases and ice. He came up with the idea of measuring humidity and different waterwheels. Leonardo even came up with something to help people breath underwater. Leonardo did not want to share it with the masses because men would use it for “evil in war”.

· ·From 1485 to 1495 Leonardo came up with many ideas for new inventions.·

His ideas came from his fascination with how things worked. He was known for studing machanics such as pullies, levers and gears. He used many of his studies in his inventions and many can be seen the second you look at his designs. When he was younger he studied art, math, and science which greatly helped him for understanding how things work.
·
Leonardo really didnt have much problems with some his inventions because most of them were just blue prints and a model of it was never made or he never got the chance to make it. Leonardo did have trouble harnessing water into a source of energy.

Leonardo's inventions/ ideas impacted society greatly. He is considered a Renaissance Man. He changed the way people thought in that time and influenced others with his craft. He greatly improved society and brought them into a new time of exploration and discovery. But also he was considered a source of negativity. Many people in that time thought he was not human and he was prosecuted by others that didn't under him because he was so ahead of his time.
